LGBTQIA+ TASK FORCE
Mission: As part of our commitment to be an open and affirming community, All Saints created the LGBTQIA+ Task Force to work in support of our LGBTQIA+ Parish Community by developing and facilitating initiatives which address concerns, raise consciousness, build community and hold up role models for LGBTQIA+ youth.
Past Activities:
A parish-wide initiative to create and adopt the Statement of Welcome and Affirmation of LGBTQ persons.-
Lecture series "Gay and Catholic"
Annual Fr. Mychal Judge Award and Lecture
A Statue of the Martyred Mychal carried away by NYC Firemen
Annual Participant in the CNY Pride Parade
Fundraisers for Break Margins Africa which rescues gay Kenyan youth and gives them job training so they can quit their street lives and live in dignity
